We did a cruise that started and finished in Yokohama but we had three days pre-cruise in Tokyo. Yokohama is the cruise port for Tokyo. There’s lots of choice of cruises from there. Some ships are geared up for the Japanese market - we sailed on the Diamond Princess which had been fitted with a spa/pool to replicate an onsen. Our cruise was a bit of a disaster as we had two typhoons to escape from and only managed two half days in port (6 days at sea). Princess gave us our money back which was very fair because they didn’t have to because it was weather related.
