Sorry to hijack this thread. I have booked priority and have in addition to the cabin bag, I also added one 10kg checked in bag. Is there a size limit to the 10kg checked in bag or does that not matter as long as it doesn’t go over 10kg?

As far as I could tell, the 10kg bag must meet the cabin bag size! But it wasn’t so clear but we took no chances! My DD flew back with the free sized bag, a cabin bag (55 cm x 40cm x 20cm) and a hold bag that was the same size and weighed 9.9kg! I only realised that after I booked it as the 20kg info clearly states the maximum sizes whereas as the 10kg bag seemed to indicate that it was an alternative to taking a cabin bag and the images were off a small wheely case!

Thank you. I will just use another cabin sized bag. Probably for the best as I’d only end up over packing if I used a larger one. 👍

Yeah they are strict on carry on luggage, I wonder if they are incentivised like Spirit employees in US? I saw a article about it
"Spirit employees earned $5 for charging oversize carry-on bags at the gate. They also earned $5 for selling the Big Front Seat, $4 for charging overweight checked bags, and $2 for selling exit-row seats."
I think congress were trying to stop this and interviewed a CEO
