Lyft or uber

Hey all, we are planning on going to miller's to watch the Superbowl, we are planning on getting either a Lyft or an Uber from our hotel to miller's and back to the hotel later on, we've never used either when we've been to Florida as I never drink aso I always drive everywhere, has anyone had any experience with either company? Are either companies safe to use late at night? Is there any other companies anyone has used that they recommend? Thanks in advance

We used Lyft in Fort Lauderdale and Miami last time we were over. Great service, we booked ahead, 20/30 minutes which was slightly less.
Also noticed a lot of the drivers did both Lyft and Uber, had a matrix sign that switched between service names.

Both are safe to use. Download both apps and get them set up with your credit card before you go. When you are ready to use them check the prices on both before you book as sometimes one is cheaper than the other.

Yep, set up both before you go. We tended to use Lyft. Make sure you are at the pickup point when you order as we iften only had to wait 2 minutes, and once it got there before us and drove off, meaning we got charged!

Yep, as you mentioned often the drivers are the same, have both apps downloaded and setup, and compare the pricing between before. Most of the time on previous trips lyft was cheaper for me.

Hi,
On previous trips we have usually used Lyft more, but on our last trip Nov/Dec 24 we ended up using Uber majority of the time as Lyft times were a lot longer .

I haven't visited for a bit, but typically I used the wait and save option and planned around any waits, checked when leaving a park or when leaving the hotel, see how long the wait is, then plan that into my walk/time to getting to the pickup areas.

Lyft tends to be cheaper but uber seem to have more availability. Some drivers do work for both. We used to open both apps compare and then order accordingly. Using the save and wait if your in Millers makes a lot of sense as you just stay inside till they arrive.
