Nice restaurant to celebrate a birthday

What kind of food? What kind of price range? There are so many to choose from.

We did Shulas Steakhouse in the Swan and Dolphin for the 1st time in Sept. It was amazing but it’s not cheap. Best meal we had last year. The restaurant was less crowded than other steakhouses like Yachtsman’s which is where we usually go.

Our special event places are: California Grill at the Contemporary (pricey, but amazing if you time it with the MK fireworks), O'hana (less pricey, but still a good MK fireworks view), Spice Road Table at Epcot (reasonable, and amazing views)

Nicest meal we had last time was the ‘big board’ at Wine Bar George.

We really enjoyed Jaleo last year.
The food was excellent, we had a really great and knowledgeable server and the atmosphere is good too.

We also went to Capa and Jaleo was far better. I only mention it as they kind of fall in the same bracket.
I’d not go back to Capa.
The vibe (I hate that word) was odd, server was really quite disinterested bordering on rude and slightly misogynistic tbh.
The food is just nice but not star worthy at all.
In case that’s in the running, I don’t recommend it

Morimoto is lovely too. We’ve not been on recent trips but have really enjoyed it in the past.

We’ve really enjoyed trattoria al forno for a nice meal and not super expensive.
