Hi, We stayed at the dolphin at the end of November for a week and the only advantage for us was being able to stay in the boardwalk area for a lower cost. For us we agreed we would probably rather stay at a value disney resort than stay there again. The customer service compared to Disney is massively lacking and we really missed the 'magic'

early / late entry. Don't touch their buses, head to the boardwalk or yacht club because their buses are awful.

I've stayed at the Dolphin multiple times. It's a great option if you want the benefits of the Boardwalk area at a lower price. The buses are a miss for me. I walk over to the Boardwalk hotel and use Disney buses for AK, MK and DS. The boats are great, and there are some lovely bars and restaurants. The pool area is brilliant.

I like the Dolphin and have stayed multiple times. The rooms are looking dated now and the bathrooms are tiny. The big disadvantage is the high resort and parking costs which runs to $50 per day (resort Fee) parking is $38, valet $56 (all +tax). It all feels very money grabbing. You do get the early/late entry. The views are spectacular and the location is amazing.

I stayed at the Dolphin in November too and found it fine. Yes it isn’t Disneyfied but I didn’t mind that but probably wouldn’t recommend if going with kids. The room was good and the location was the best thing about it, the boats to the Yacht and Beach Club etc mean’t easy access to Disney buses rather than the Mears ones. I have booked a few days there for my next trip.
Also the staff were great with us, no problems and fast friendly service at concierge and bell services.

The location of the Swan and Dolphin resorts is excellent for Epcot and DHS. I wouldn’t stay there for my entire trip but it’s a good option for a few nights. As said the only benefits you miss out on are Disney buses and if there are any offers like free dining. The resort fee and parking fees can also be an issue unless you book with someone that includes them like Virgin.

You get the same perks as the Disney deluxe resorts, also the 60 + 10 dining reservation booking.
We've stayed at the Dolphin twice (Sept '22 and '23), we booked hotel only through Virgin Hols and both times also got free parking and a $50 dining credit for the hotel. The rooms are lovely and a bit bigger than Disney deluxe rooms. You also get bottled water provided daily with housekeeping. The bus service is Mears and pretty regular - parks right near the Disney bus parks apart from Disney Springs (behind Cirque, and MK) we walked to the Yacht club and got their buses for those.
We'd definitely stay again as Crescent Lake is our favourite location.

I'll also add with the exception of the pool bar the food was pretty poor.
