We never bother with online, seems more hassle than it’s worth.
Got all our meat last month and is now in the freezer. Just veg and dessert to get on the 23rd then we are done. |

I’m going tonight. Regular shop at Tesco and then popping to M&S for some extra bits.
Turkey and Veg box being collected on Wednesday from butcher and greengrocer in local parade of shops.

We are in Cornwall holidaying over Christmas and kids want kebabs for Christmas lunch.
Saw a marinaded chicken one in Waitrose and thought it looked great, home made grilled pittas, salad and paprika fries for Christmas lunch after a walk on the beach 👌👌👌😳😳👌👌👌 The teenagers argued a good case that the world has been broken for the last two years so why not. Edited at 03:53 PM. |

We don’t have children so it is 2 of us and my parents (who live down the road and we care for). We have ordered a chicken from a local farm and will cook it on Christmas Day.
The puddings and cake are made. We will have individual puddings on Boxing Day. So all we need is veg and the stuff for making brandy sauce. And normal boring stuff. Not planning a big shop at all.

Aldi for opening on Xmas eve works for me every year. Never had any real trouble getting what is needed. If they don't have something I find an alternative as at the end of the day it's about who is around the table and not what's on it. I do only really shop for Christmas day though and then manage with trips to the co-op for bits before braving a full shop around 29th usually.

Meat bought and in the freezer. Tesco click and collect Wednesday then a trip to Lidl, if needed, on Thursday for anything I’ve forgotten! Only hubby and me this year

I went this morning at 7am. It was busy but got everything I needed. This was mainly just normal food for the week with extra stuff.
I already have beef from Costco in the freezer, got a food order to collect from M&S Thursday morning so can get anything else I’m missed then. Last day working today and I have the kids booked in with our childminder so I can get wrapping done in the morning! |

We went yesterday evening at about 6:30, Asda looked really busy when we pulled into the car park but it wasn't that bad in there. Used the phone to scan the food so didn't have to queue at the tills and walked straight up to a 'till' when paying. Got everything we needed, so don't need to go out again
