Virgin Flights to MIA
Hello,
Just booked my flights to Florida for August LHR to MIA , didn't really want to go to Miami but it was so much cheaper than MCO £2.3K vs £3.8k . I have gone for economy delight and been allocated seats in row 46/47 (787), I was wondering are these the best seats row 46 doesn't have a seat in front is this a good or bad thing in peoples experience as I'm not sure how the screen or tray works ?(we are just average sized people) . Also exiting the plane is important in the US as customs queues can be large do exit the plane from one exit at the front as I would like to get off ASAP. Cheers |

Do you know which aircraft you're scheduled on? It should show on your booking. I believe they use the 787 for MIA, so here is the seat map.
aerolopa/vs-boeing-789 I avoid bulkhead seats like this because of the fixed armrests that hold the TV and tray, they are slightly narrower than other seats as a result. But if you aren't bothered by this, they're fine. It's an over wing bulkhead just used to separate the cabins, so you won't have people using the space while they wait for the toilets, so it's one of the better bulkhead areas to be in. The exit door is behind Upper Class (row 11) so disembarkation would be Upper, Premium and then Economy. All Economy Delight seats are at the front of economy, so it's the fastest you'll be off the plane without upgrading cabins. It is rare for Virgin to use multiple exit doors, the only place I've seen it done is at smaller Caribbean airports where you exit directly to the tarmac instead of an airbridge. Thanks ,
Its a 787-9 so will probably change my seats to 47 and 48 , I've never had a bulk head seat but the screen/tray arrangement always looked awkward to me. |
