In 2018 we arrived at Port Orleans Riverside on the Saturday night quite late, and then had to leave again on Sunday at teatime, (the earliest flight we could get back), as my mum, who was in hospital but quite stable, suddenly went into septic shock; she passed away a few hours before we got back to the UK. So the trip was about 18 hours long.

We did three nights at Pop after being in Virginia for three nights. We booked the Pop stay on Expedia the night before we arrived and bought a ticket when we got there.
We’re so used to planning these things months ahead and it was quite refreshing to see how last minute it could all be done.

5 nights last November but we're going for 4 nights in March. Bargain Tampa flights and car hire both times so makes sense to get some use out of our Universal annual passes

Shortest trip was a last minute one we went for a week in 1997 and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on I Drive. We had been due to go to Tenerife but this was cancelled due to problems with flight times and as we already had annual passes we switched to Orlando at the last minute. We had a great time but much prefer our 3 - 4 week stays in a villa.

A week, but I’d do a long weekend if it was that or nothing.

Done 7 nights, but that was to Bonita Beach. Was one Feb about 20 years ago. Were meant to be going to Tenerife on the Sunday, on Friday night hotel was on Watchdog as a building site! Airtours claimed there was no other hotel left in Tenerife they could put us in. Booked Florida instead and told them they’d have to pay the difference, which to my surprise they did with no argument at all. Had a great trip, was boiling hot all week. Drove straight from Sanford to Bonita Beach on landing.

I typically always do 7/8 night trips especially if my mum is with me as she has to shut her business to come away.

Am currently looking at a 5/6 night trip Jan 2023 for my birthday.

6 nights and enjoyed every minute. Would do it again if cheap enough. Otherwise we are normally 14nights.
