I owed $157 on a small contract. Paid no problem this morning.

The other one has lots left - they can wait for that until I'm ready.

I like knowing it's done and out of the way - can relax and enjoy xmas then! It said we were overpaying but was fine once the payment went through. Took 3 days to let us pay the bloody thing though!

I wait till my ‘free’ council tax months and use that to pay (only 100 points).

I think it’s the accountant in me - I’d rather have the money until I have to pay it! I pay on a fee free credit card just before the deadline so I get an extra month

I hate having any sort of debt and always pay things as soon as.
With my credit card I often pay it off in chunks during the month so that I get a zero bill, I hate seeing the debt sitting there.

I was irresponsible with a store card as a Student and the bank of mum and dad had to bail me out and I never forget the lectures I was given by both of them on how to manage money and how dangerous credit can be. Makes me paranoid now.

Why not use Autopay?

I enrolled in Autopay a few days ago, it automatically takes payment from your designated credit card on the due date (I think it is Jan 15th?)Let them do the work.

I had a nice surprise when I went to pay mine, expecting to pay $1400, I'd forgotten I was in credit from last year by $300.

All sorted and all paid for by the points I managed to sell on Facebook during our exclusion from the US (Plus a healthy amount towards next years dues too)
