Interesting! Do you know which restaurant it was and have you raised with guest services? I'm wondering if it was one of the participant restaurants rather than the standard ones as I was surprised to see the Landry ones on the list to be honest.

Sounds like mis-communication somewhere. Either the restaurant staff weren't aware of this new gift card coming in, or Disney hadn't negotiated acceptance with the third party vendors for it. I know they had to do this every year for DDP, there was always a question mark over third party restaurants until it was confirmed. WDTC may have been using the DDP list assuming it would be the same for DC.

Hi you get the card emailed to you and at the bottom says add to walket,to add to your disney app theres a code on the bar code so on payment for mobile ordering it says gift card and dining card i think just add to that (the long number) Is that what you mean? Everytime you mobile order it remembers it
If i dont mobile order they just scan the card saved in my wallet

Sorry, I hadn’t been back. Yes you can screenshot it. You can also add it to Apple Wallet.

For using for mobile order hubby pasted it the number into a note so he could just copy/paste it into the payment section. For in restaurant they just scanned the QR code in Apple wallet. He also screenshot it to be safe in case other ways didn’t work.

You can also print it and use a paper copy for scanning.

Yes. It works just like a gift card.

As an aside he even used it at Amorettes in Disney Springs. I wouldn’t even have tried there.
