I haven’t been to Hawaii but will go in the next 5 years as I need to stay in the DVC there as it’s meant to be fabulous. Need 3 weeks for that stopover etc I think ideally. My colleague went direct to Hawaii with a change in LA but no stopover, straight on the new plane, and said it was brutal so I won’t do that.

I still hope to go to Japan in May this year but am not feeling ….. confident it will happen, so booked for October / November this year as a backup

I always had the impression you live in japan, so I'm sorry to hear that's not the case and you are waiting to revisit. I think realistically we'll have to reconsider for 2023. Crappy covid.

I hope your autumn trip happens though. ❤️

Only been once 🥺🤓🤓🤓🤓🎌🎌

May is defo my fav time to go (after Golden Week) weather and crowds wise.

BTW - live near “sunny” Glasgow and would never live in Japan but loved my visit there and want to do more.

I was really blown away about my trip there, so many positives and hardly any negatives - and much to admire.

Also, daft as it sounds it is a cheap holiday once there.
Unlike the US where I can (and do! ) but things like new clothes etc - they do not do them for 6 foot lads there 🤓🤓🤓🎌

If we cannot go this year, May 2023 would be probably the date BUT all huge expansion there opens sometime in 2023 so might do October / early November to try and catch it
