Grand Canyon helicopter tour companies

Fingers crossed this coming may our 3rd attempt at getting to Las Vegas and wanting a bit of advice about booking a helicopter tour to go to the Grand Canyon…I e noticed that the price’s vary quite a lot so can anyone recommend..
1..any company that you have used.
2..whether to book here before I go or wait and book over there.
3..just any advice to keep in mind.

I booked Maverick with the Skywalk for our boys 21st back in 2013
All good, pick up from Vegas hotels
Then I used them again for us in 2014
All booked & paid a few months before we travelled

We also used Maverick but booked while out there.
Nowadays though I’d book in advance.

We went with Papillon, booked before we went, did the early am trip on our first day as we are usually up so early! Had amazing trip and landed on the canyon and back to Vegas, 40 mins flight each way, was such a cool experience. Would do it again definitely.

We went with Titan tours (California and the golden west tour) and did the helicopter ride of the grand canyon with Papillon. Was fabulous, be prepared they weigh you to ensure even weight distribution, at least they did then, but that was 2008….

We did the sunset tour with Papillon and it was a definite trip highlight - flying over the canyon as the sun set was spectacular and then over the strip in darkness 😍.

We booked before we left as we both had reservations about the helicopter flight so we knew if we waited we would probably have chickened out.

We went with Papillon too. We flew over the Hoover Dam, did the canyon then on to a ranch for lovely breakfast and finally went horseriding. Recommended.
