I'll caveat this by stating we wouldn't go back but that's more a price/value thing that them not being any good!
Flying Fish- But £200 for a meal for 2 is too much Cali - See above Chef Art's - we will go back Storybook Dining Kona(pricing was a bit iffy last visit) Teppon Edo- but we prefer the Kobe! Trattoria Al forna- Good pizza but very expensive for Pizza! Mama Melrose 50's & Steakhouse 71 that we will try next trip On the whole though we will eat offsite. SD

California Grill - that being said, I've only been to brunch, but the brunch has been so good that I've been back a few times!
Le Cellier - really really liked the steak and risotto. Garden Grill - food was nothing too special, but the character interaction was one of the best I've ever had at any character meal. Kona - breakfast was great and this is on my to do list if I ever make it back to WDW in the near future.

Agree with the rushing with ohana we went 2 weeks ago on an evening first time and i wont be going back again,i didnt get what all the hype was plus didnt help they sat us next to the kitchen doors so that was my view,we were eating salad still when the mains were brought out,by the time dessert came i only had 1 bite, plus we had the vegan platter its just a lot of money i wanted to be wowed

Watch it according to Pete Werner’s latest review, Boma is a shadow of it’s former self.
‘Best’ for me also includes maximum quality for a good price, plus menu we like. As well as ambience and service etc. Best for me would never be Victoria and Alberts because I don’t see any meal to be worth the prices they charge. Following our Xmas trip its now: 1. Boathouse although we didn’t like our server much. 2. Homecomin’- Jeff the server was stellar. 3. Probably still Yak and Yeti.

Top two are easy...
Kona for breakfast, although sometimes I'll do the QS instead - I just want Tonga Toast Homecomin' - love the chicken and biscuits, not badly priced for Disney Not sure what I'd put in third place now. Used to be Garden Grill but they're currently not serving breakfast and the prices on character dining in general have gotten way too high. So it's sadly off the list now. Maybe Geyser Point, didn't get to it last trip and regret that a bit. But wasn't hungry enough when I was at WL and didn't get back out there later on. |
