Non Resort Guests
First time ever that we're not staying on-site with the dining plan but we were wanting to eat in some of the resorts, casual dining for breakfast say, in Caribbean Beach and some ADR's.
Can non-resort guests dine at the Disney resorts yet? Many thanks,

Hi Paula-Jane,
Yes non resort guests can dine. From what I have been seeing, when you approach the barrier when driving in they will ask you for a reservation number. |

When we last went in 2018 & 2019 they scanned our Magic Bands to check for our reservations when we dined in hotels as off site guests

Do we have to have magic bands?
That's fine for table service but what about casual dining?

The checks (either by band or manual lookup) for an ADR is only if you're trying to park there. If you arrive via Disney transport, they won't check anything.

I assume if we park there and pay, we don't need to pay again at the park?

You won't pay to park at a resort as an offsite guest, the resorts only have an overnight parking charge for guests. So you will need to pay at the park as usual.
Some resorts are funny about letting in cars without an ADR, especially those close to the parks as many people will try to park there to avoid paying for parking. You might be able to get in by saying you're getting a QS meal, but I would have a backup plan. For CBR for example, that may involve parking at HS and then getting the Skyliner over. |

When we were there last month they would only allow visitors in if they had a confirmed ADR. No one was allowed in other than that. Lots of people being turned around.

If you arrived with Disney Transportation they check if you were a resort guest?
I can understand, that they restrict parking at the resort. But as far as I understood, parking at TTC or other other park was allowed, then you had to take monorail or bus to the hotel.
