It's card only now for on site washing machines. They don't take cash any more. My Halifax Clarity worked fine in them last year.

Sorry Bugsy , hijacking your thread here... but before that got to say I take my own washing pods etc but do love buying a bit of Tide as I love the smell lol.Does anyone here know if the washing machines etc in the rooms at ALK are free or are they payment ones?

I love that smell too but DH is allergic to it!

You can also buy washer cards in onsite shop that can be used if you don't want to use your cards.

Last time we went we shrunk a few t-shirts in the dryer! I'll wash clothes again this year but I will give the dryer a miss I think.
