I did it! Week 4, run 1.

I’m so happy, I still can’t quite believe I’m actually doing this😂

Ok. Am going to jump on bandwagon. Aim is to join rest of family on the Park Run without humiliating myself.

Has the NHS one for a while but never really went for the music much. Does the BBC one have music?

I play my music on Spotify. I think you can run whatever music you want. It just turns the music volume down when there’s instructions.

Yes it will, I just play my normal playlist, and the running app fades it down to hear any instructions. Very easy

Yesterday I completed my first 5k Park Run!

Joined a beginner's group 9 weeks ago with DD11 run through a local women's running group.

My time was 42.04mins and DD11s was 41.38. Made it all the more special as we wore team jerseys and had a presentation of medals and a certificate

It was wonderful sharing our achievement with the other ladies we met over the last few weeks.

I would certainly recommend looking for a beginner's group - our run leaders are soo supportive and being with like minded people really helps you along. I never thought I would achieve this - so very proud of myself and DD.
