Tell me about POFQ...

I'm excited to be staying here in November for my first trip 😁 I'm wondering what the noise levels are like in the room when people are going past on the walkway outside? I stayed in a traditional motel earlier this year and the walls were so thin you'd think they were in the room with you 😂 I'm sure (and hope!) Disney build better than motel 6 😂 also wondering about whether the upper floor would be better, or does it make no difference? Thanks!

Does anyone have any pictures of rooms with king beds at all? Every picture I look at has 2 doubles.

Thanks so much for that! Are there any in Alligator Bayou that you know of? Also, do you know if those rooms have been refurbished?

There aren't many in AB at POR, more in the MB area. You might find this helpful as it shows all the different rooms in each block at POR and POFQ:

Sorry, can't help with refurb info though.

Ok thank you. Any king beds at FQ that you know of?

We love this resort. We booked a standard room and ended up in block 5 which was really close to the pool and common areas. To be honest the resort is so small it wouldn’t matter which block you were in.

We particularly enjoyed having a drink in the bar after a long day at the parks.

The busses were fine, there is only on bus stop which helps but we tended to drive to the parks due to not having to wait for our return bus!

It’s a lovely resort and we would absolutely stay here again.

Buildings 34-39 are the only ones that have been completely refurbed so far. No king rooms in AB.

The king room in the picture Loves2plan posted is pre refurb so just picture that but with the new lights/curtains/wooden floor!

We’ve booked a King at FQ. It looks like they are mostly corner rooms and they have them in each block.
