Reverse washing your hair
Anyone else tried this? Essentially you wash your hair the 'wrong' way round, so you conditioner first and shampoo second. It's supposed to be good for fine hair.
Now I don't think I have particularly fine hair or any massive hair problems, but I've been trying reverse washing this week and its made such a difference! My hair has more body, is softer and is more well behaved in general. When I use the shampoo second it foams up so much more for some reason- we live in a very hard water area so normally don't get much foam. Anyone else have any good/bad results doing this? |

Never heard of this, but going to give it a try . I do have fine hair and any extra body would be great.

I have tried it and it works well for me too.
I have very long, fine hair and find most conditioners are too heavy for my hair and leave it lank and it goes greasy really quickly, but I can't get away with not using conditioner either, so that's what I do.

Have done this for years I’ve very fine short hair and conditioner just makes it flat if I don’t use it first

I have done this for a few years now I have fine curly hair and now instead of a fizzy mess its really soft but I also hardly use any shampoo just a few drops its alway shiny and looks a lot better and easy to handle my hair.

I've done this for years with my long, thick, curly mane and I find it leaves my hair much nicer than putting the conditioner on last.

I read this before on here and a hairdresser said it’s pointless as you wash the conditioner out with the shampoo so essentially you are just shampooing .🤔

Never tried this but have recently started to skip conditioner on some washes and it seems to be doing my hair some good. Might try this tomorrow and see how it goes
