Mine would also be Usenet back in the early 90s. I can't remember the usergroup I first posted in, perhaps alt.fan.pratchett or alt.fan.dragons. Something like that.

For a while I was a member of the UK Usergroup management team, deciding on which uk.* groups would get created and what they would be called.

Mine was IRC in 1996 a friend of mine took me to an internet chat room and i was hooked. I found my husband in one of those rooms (1998) and we will be in Disney for our 16th anniversary together.

I dont have twitter, snapchat or instagram I have only just learnt how to use whatsapp. I do have facebook though. Dibb is my favourite.

I used to be on Yahoo Answers in the football section. It was fab, used to talk to football fans from all over the world with mostly friendly banter. Some of us had our own private section away from the public boards where we had a fantasy football league.

We had email and chat boards at University in 1986 but after I left university I didn’t really get back online until I was pregnant with my eldest and I joined a baby forum the name
of which escapes me. I was on there for quite a few years and ended up moderating the shopping forum. Back in the day I knew every Pram going
