Waterproof trainers
Having had to deal with the joy of trying to dry out trainers was wondering if anyone can recommend a waterproof trainer.
Many thanks

It depends what you want them for? Walking around in or running?
I have Salomon speed cross trial running shoes that are goretex, I wouldn’t run on tarmac in these though only off road. My normal running trainers are ASICS Kayano, not waterproof but they dry pretty quick if I get caught out in the rain. I also have Salomon XA pro goretex shoes that I walk in |

If it’s for walking in the Florida then although not waterproof Nike Pegasus are quick drying.

We just spray our normal trainers with waterproofing from camping shops. We spray the rucksacks and windcheaters too! It works well

Thank you everyone for your replies. It is for walking. We’re going to Japan in June and it potentially will be rainy. It was the only two weeks of the year we could all go - so we went for it! Figured we’ve been to Florida in really rainy weather - hence the drying out trainers experiences. Never thought of spraying waterproofing 👍 trainers etc.
