My Fitness Pal
I’ve been logging my food for the last few weeks & also linked it to my Fitbit so it takes into account calories out as well as in. My question is how do you go on when logging meals out? I went well over my calories yesterday as we went for a meal for my birthday (so will let myself off)! Just found it hard to log my meal.

I usually do a quick search on line to see if the calories are on line and then add manual calories or will just search generic steak or generic mash etc on my fitness pal. If I know I've gone over anyway I don't worry to much whether it is correct or not.

You will find if it’s a chain restaurant, the meal might be listed but otherwise I just do a search and add what I ate based on what I think it might be.
