Ok here goes ref CSR.

We were due to go an Disney cruise this May but my Wife has issues and is now on a waiting list for a hip replacement. Hence we decided to cancel the cruise element and bolted on a 5 day stay at CSR paying cash before going to SSR on our DVC Points.

What can I say about CSR. Stunning!. We had a disability access room albeit not asked for! Hence it was slightly different in layout and had certain things like the little clothes line over the bath lower. But in all other respects it was the same as other room.
The decor is excellent, the top of the chests of drawers and continuing over the fridge was a 15ft long piece of granite. Must be worth a grand!
Lovely fitments in faux leather. Tons of USB charging points on the plugs and the bedside lamp bases.
Little lights in the headboard that pop out so you can read.
Electronic safe that is very big
The gounds are so well manicured it is unbelievable.
No disruption from the last bit of construction going on ref the tower.

Can't comment on the buses as we hire a car.

Never ate there either but had a stroll and the shop is very good. better than most Resorts.

In summary. A luxury Resort priced as a Moderate.

We stayed in February, fully endorse everything Mr Tom says above. We had a car but used the bus a few times and found them really good. We were in Ranchos 7 and bus stop 2 was a few steps from the room. We had no trouble getting a seat and it may have been lucky but buses back to the resort were waiting to leave as we got on so minimal wait times.

I have only stayed at All Stars before this and although the theming is much more subtle at CSR, I actually like the ott theming at AS, the difference in room quality is amazing and despite it being a conference hotel it never seemed busy.

9th - 23rd May for our little family unit. One of my sisters is coming out 16th - 30th with her DH and 2 DDs. Both of our brothers and their families also going to Disney 16th - 30th May, but staying in PORFQ (they are families of 5).

I blame our other sister. She's a dibber and has been going for years. She talked us all into it!
