Tesco vouchers and universal hotels

Hi All ,

I’ve been saving my Tesco vouchers for a while to try and pay some towards a universal hotel for our visit in October . I’ve just checked and not sure these can now been used there as doesn’t have the symbol that use to be there . Has anyone else found this ? Gutted !

What symbol?
Never heard of it before when doing this. Certainly wasn’t when I did it last year.

Can’t you use the vouchers towards Hotel.com payment?

I do t think the symbol used to be there before and there appears to be more hotels on the restrictions list.

I used mine to book both a Disney hotel and a universal hotel on Hotels.com without any problems.

It usually says ‘enter code ‘ by the hotel if the hotel is accepting club card vouchers , it’s always said it by all universal hotels before when I’ve checked but not anymore

I’ve noticed there are fewer hotels available with the Tesco clubcard vouchers with Hotels.com. I’ve been saving up to use towards a hotel in California, and most of the ones i’d shortlisted aren’t included.

Roughly how many club card points do you need to book a night somewhere, I know there'll be a lot of variability in prices per hotel group but figuring out if I should try shop more at tesco than asda for the next 18 months

You n me both. I just changed from Virgin points to vouchers on Tesco n was thinking of using them more but if it's starting to limit the hotels you can use them on then I will go back to VS points again!
