transferring to RCI

Looking like I am going to move my points over to RCI rather than lose them. Has anyone ever transferred points over and how easy was it to use them up in the RCI program?

We have just transferred 200 points which was easy to do but I rang as had never done it before and had no clue what I was doing. I’ve now started looking for somewhere for 2022 and the RCI website is a bit annoying to search. Lots to choose from just need to match availability with dates and points total. We can be flexible with dates so hopefully that will help. Wishing us both luck we can make it work 😊

Who was it you rang DVC members services I assume? Can you access the website prior to registering or is it more detailed once in?

I’ve posted this on the FB UK DVC site.

Any advice on here? What are the advantages / disadvantages of doing this? (I know you can’t spend them at Disney).

Hi.

Could someone post or message me what the deal is with RCI transfer.

My situation - I’ve got 330 (2020) points that I booked for our home resort for August at 11 months and got 330 (2021) points due in Jan, that I planned to use. We go every 2 years for a month using banked and current year.
