Which character meal?

Hi
We are looking forward to our first trip to Disney in August. There are 12 of us going including 7 children.
One of the children has her 7th birthday whilst we are there and we are thinking of booking a character meal to celebrate her birthday.
I was thinking of either breakfast at Crystal palace to see Winnie the pooh or maybe Cinderella's Royal Table for princesses.
But then I saw that Akershus in Epcot has princesses too.
Which would be best? We are on QSDP so will be paying for the meal.
Thank you

We did both the princess breakfasts last August with DD(8) and whilst we enjoyed the experience of eating in Cinderella Castle, we found the food, atmosphere and princess interaction better at Akershus (which is also much cheaper!)
both locations had 5 princesses to meet (including a picture with either Cinderella at CRT or Belle at Akershus on the way in).
Would do Akershus again but not CRT as we didn't really think it was worth the money

I would choose Akershus. It was nice to dine in the castle at CRT but I don't think it was worth the extra money. The food and character interaction at Akershus was great.
However if you can get a pre-park opening breakfast ADR for Crystal palace I would probably choose that. It would really depend on which characters you think your DD would prefer.

I agree with this and think that this really determines where you will eat.

If you haven't eaten there, then I do think that CRT is special although expensive. Crystal Palace is good, but I don't think it's particularly special for a birthday. I would use a QS credit for BOG breakfast to get early entry into MK.

My daughter is having her 9th birthday whilst we're away and we're going to Chef Mickeys for breakfast. We've not been there, so can't comment on quality, but it is iconic (but I believe has a price tag to match, we're on DDP).

We're also heading to 1900 Park Fayre for the first time as it gets very good reviews on here. TBH can't decide between breakfast and dinner as the characters are different at both, but they both seem good.

Can't comment on Akershus as we've not been there.

Not sure I've helped much

Thank you for your replies they are really helpful
I think it will be between Akershus and Crystal palace. I agree it really depends on which characters we want to see. We are having a planning meeting this weekend with my brother's family so will discuss it then.

I think a breakfast reservation at BOG is a good idea thank you.

It's all very exciting!
