Price question

I now this may be another stupid question on my part but when a restaurant says $30-$59.99 how much does it actually cost? is the lower number the cost of the food and the upper number the cost with drink, tax etc?
Just trying to budget for ADR's... really ant to go to Garden Grill so DH can see ChpnDale but there's a big difference between the two ends of the price range... please help

It will depend on exactly when you go, but the price range is smaller.

Adult price range: $37.97-$44.72; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $19.10-$24.99

Tax is included; gratuity is not included. A standard, non-alcoholic beverage is included in this price.

From the Disney site

"Range reflects the average price of adult dinner entrées (breakfast and lunch generally cost less),

except Character Dining locations, buffet locations, dinner shows, and special dining events where range reflects the average adult price of entire meal and non-alcoholic beverages.

Range excludes alcoholic beverages, taxes and gratuities except at dinner shows where beer and wine, taxes and gratuities are included. "

However, you also need to be aware that "seasonal" pricing occurs too and can add a few dollars.
