Too cold for water park?
Hopefully booking sometime this week, for end of November/Start of December. but DSS is most excited about even the thought of the pool and water park. Ive only been in April and February so no experience of the weather this time of year. Will it be warm enough to go to water park, go swimming in the pool. ?

We've been to Typhoon Lagoon in early December but obviously it's weather dependent. It would have been far too cold when I went in December 2014.

I'm hopeful as this is the time we're going too. Have always managed to get to a water park whenever we've been in January, just need to be a bit flexible and work outside the plan!

If they think it is too cold they will close it.
Our first visit was December 2010 when it was minus 2 most days with ice everywhere. Both waterparks were closed, and Seaworld even closed the rides. Our second was early November 2014. Most days were fine - between 22 and 29 most of the time, but there were a few cold evenings of about 13 with very chilly winds. On the two days we hoped to go to a waterpark, Disney closed it as they said it was too cold.

I've been to Orlando 7 early Decembers so far and could certainly have gone to water parks in all 7 trips on at least a few days. Two of those trips were hot every day, 2 were colder and 3 were mixed. None were bad (2010 seems to have been an exception, we missed that one). We did do Dec 2014 mentioned above and we got some lovely days but probably not the same dates as poster above. It's hard to predict but odds are you will be able to go some days, you may just have to keep your visits to between mid morning to late afternoon as it will be colder in the early morning & late afternoon onwards.

You'll be fine early December, just check which Water Park is closed as they do maintenance on one of them in the winter months!
