My OH's top 3 are Celebration, Waldorf Astoria and Shingle Creek. FIL would add Southern Dunes to that list too.

Great idea. We love to spend time in Celebration and visit numerous times during our holiday.
Pleasant walks and a number of restaurants to choose from + Kilwins for an ice cream.

Southern dunes was in the top 10 public courses in Florida and the top 100 in the USA. They will let you play off any tees other than the championship, lightening fast greens, well worth a visit.

LBV is great fun and we always get a few beers thrown down from OKW balcony😊

They do twilight prices which are not too bad

Wherever he plays I hope he has a great time!
Thanks, I think he mentioned he might try LBV. He enjoyed magnolia last year but just said it wasn't as good as he thought it would be. Thanks for your help

My OH and son think Disney courses are ok but their favourites are Celebration and Waldorf Astoria. Usually pre-book on Golf now website or Tee times USA.

Disney golf = over-priced and over-rated IMHO

Orange County National, Southern Dunes, Grand Cypress all worth looking at.

Further afield - Bella Collina, Mission Inn, Redtail

Special treat - World Woods. Roughly 60 miles located near Brooksville. 36 holes of just about the best golf I have ever played. Under $80 for a round on each course

Would go for Southern Dunes, OCN and Celebration, personally in that order

3 Reunion courses are also worth a game although I would say a step down from those 3

A further step down would be the 3 Championsgate courses

I liked all the Disney courses (when they were all still Disney) but they are IMO over priced for what they are.

For something unusual have him play the floodlit 9 hole course at Orange Lake I think, not a brilliant course, but its a different game under lights.

I don't mind Ridgewood Lakes as a layout in bits but its conditioning comes and goes.

DH is playing at Southern Dunes this afternoon the second time this trip played ridgewood lakes and Highland reserve all twice says Southern Dunes has benifited from the new greens put in last year and is in better condition than the other. 2 at the minute bearing in mind it's tinderbox dry here at the minute
