Can anyone tell me about Disney cruise at Christmas!

Hi we are staying at Disney for Christmas 2017 and wanted to know what tha 3 day cruise is like that time of year? Also how do we get from our resort to port canveral as we don't drive would really like to do it but really like more info if anyone can help thanks

We did a 4 night cruise over Christmas in 2015. It was totally amazing! On the first night there is a tree lighting ceremony, where the characters come and sing some carols etc. There is a large gingerbread house in the lobby, and you can also sign up to make a small gingerbread house. The ship is decorated beautifully. Castaway Cay is also decorated.
If you can, I would do the 4 night cruise. The three day cruise doesn't give you the sea day to explore the ship, and spend time at the pool. We didn't get off the ship in Nassau, we spent the day by the pool!

Disney cruise line offer a transfer service to and from the resort an Port Canaveral. Its $35 pp each way. But, the DCL buses don't pick up from the resorts until late morning. We used Florida Magical tours to get to and from the port, so we were there nice and early and ready for our PAT ( port arrival time) .
