i would definitely do the two holidays and spend time with all the kids.
I would also choose easter over august because of the heat and humidity in the summer.

I'd go with your husband's suggestion. More family time together and more holidays.

Yep I would choose the 2 holiday option as well! We are hoping to sell and move to the other end of the country this year so no holidays at all for us... Enjoy whatever you choose.

Def the 2 separate holidays. Esp as you love both places and you can all be together for one of them.

Thank you all, it's nice to hear an 'outside' opinion.

We're lucky enough to have been in Florida & Dubai already this year but DD & DS1 haven't been to either.

It's definitely a first world problem and something I wouldn't dream of publicising in my 'real life' hence asking on here where Florida, US, Dibai and multi holidays are 'the norm'.
Of to to start checking prices for Easter & October to see if if is viable!
