2 different beach days

We are off in December. I'm thinking of doing a day trip to Anna Maria island, what beach would people recommend on here?

Also undecided between clearwater for the day or fort de soto?

Clearwater and Fort Desoto are completely different... it depends what you looking for really.

If it's peace and quiet you are after and a beautiful beach all to yourself, then it should be a Fort Desoto every time.

Try looking on YouTube for videos of Fort Desoto. It really is the best place I have ever been in the world... Ever !

Thank you! I must admit everytime I look at pictures of fort desoto it looks more and more amazing. I think it will suit us more than Clearwater aswell.

We sometimes go to Bradenton beach , it's not too far away but a great place to stop over

The Gulf Coast gets better and better the further south you go, but for quick look from Orlando, Fort De Soto is ideal and will give you a taste of what the Gulf Coast has to offer.

Thanks. Definitely going to visit on one of our days, if we enjoy it we could go further down the coast for a few days on our next trip!
