This is more true for primary teachers than secondary ones, and even less true for Chemists like myself. When I need Chemicals to burn or to carry out reactions to prove a point, I have to use ones I have ordered at school. I don't keep practical resources at home.

Is it too late to cancel winter and the bad weather? So far today I've failed to get into two supermarkets due to storm damage and then had an awful drive to work and this is only the beginning of the bad weather. It's not actually forecast to be bad until 6pm.

DW is desperate for it to snow (as are the kids). If it does I will just put the heating on, put my elephant onesie on and watch trashy TV all day.
