Mobile What are these please ?

Two sets of quite heavy metal objects with serrated edges. I think they must have been in a set of drill bits I bought donkeys years ago. Ive never used them and doubt I will, but Id like to know what they are.

They are for making holes in wood or plasterboard. I use them for making holes in plasterboards to fit downlights in ceilings.

They could even be metal hole saws which are usually more expensive.

Sorry, they are not Starret, which we use at work. I was called away and posted too soon, before I could amend it!
Starret are the best make, but expensive, I work for a company that does drylining so we use many holesaws.

That's a nice set. Used by Carpenters for doing the pipe holes in the back of kitchen units etc.

Much better than the adjustable auger bit we used to use which was expensive and prone to breaking.
