Love Sanford airport, just a bit too far when we can fly into MCO, but would fly from there if we had to!

I really prefer SFB over MCO yes it is further out but I would rather spend the time driving to the resort than standing in an immigration queue at MCO. Yes there is not much to do airside when you are leaving but we always use the lounge anyway.
To answer the original question there is airbridges at Sanford been through SFB several times |

We have used SFB on a number of occasions and always found it easy to get through. We will be flying there on our next trip, and the drive down is easy, and the waiting in line much less than MCO.

We've flown in and out of Sanford on 8 trips and there's always been an airbridge. Presumably the OP is flying TUI. Just after the Dreamliner was launched we were told by TUI cabin crew that Sanford had made adjustments to the gate to allow the Dreamliner to use airbridges
