I always used Piz Buin once daily however this year have become a convert to Ultrasun. Its expensive but its light and non-greasy.

I have tried all makes over the years but now I use Ladival - buy it from tkmaxx - it is great for sufferers of prickly heat.

I've been using Banana Boat SPF 50 - it just happened to be one I picked up a few years back and has worked well enough for me that I haven't felt the need to try out other brands. Usually slather it on either before leaving the hotel room in the morning, or in the parks once it gets hot - no need to reapply throughout the day (unless I get wet).

100% what lovestoplan posted, but we use Ultrasun Family which is for people who also suffer Prickly Heat & its non fragrance (DH cant have anything fragranced on his skin) Its Factor 30 as 50 can block your pores, hence sweat buildups = prickly heat.
We never shower in the morning but get up n put the Ultrasun on before we do anything else, then make coffee etc b4 dressing to go out. I carry Ultrasun factor 30 lip balm with me to retouch ears, nose cheeks while at the parks too

Not yet tested in Florida 😉 (but will be next year) but as a mother to two redheads and being fair myself (and as a sufferer of sun allergy) we always use Boots soltan sensitive spf 30 (me) and 50 for the kids. I use the boots 3 hour swim for the beach/water parks for me and the kids!
This has seen us safely through numerous Caribbean trips including Mexico in July, and the canaries, so I cant evisage it being any worse in the states.

Im very pale skinned, I dont tend to tan just burn and then get more freckles.

For our last trip after reading all the recommendations on The DIBB , I swapped to Ultrasun (F50). It was brilliant, even in the scorching August heat I didnt burn at all. My shoulders were even cool to the touch. Plus it didnt stain my clothes. Id highly recommend it.

Same here - we like it for many reasons but one is that my husband is relatively hairy and normal suncream just mats in his arm and leg hair.
Another is that it lasts all day and not too greasy. But you do have to be careful with white clothing - apply when out of shower and let it fully dry before dressing!
