Flown all 3 of the non-London PE’s, that’s Thomas Cook, Tui and Virgin and I’d say Virgins 787 PE is the best, I really loooove Virgins 787 PE. Alas not available on the Orlando run, yet!

In any event, even if it was against Virgins 787, I’d still go with TC at a £200pp saving, that’ll buy a lot of nice extras for the actual holiday!

Sorry to jump in here, but do TC fly to MCO all year round? Just that they don't always have PE available?

We've only used them from MAN flying PE and they certainly don't do the PE offer right through November for example. Never looked for all year-round flights though as we only go in either April and November.

They certainly don't fly every day during the winter from MAN though

I'll add thoughts here just for anyone else looking at this topic.

Flew TC premium 2017 and economy on the air tanker 2018. Premium was great, can't fault the service we received. Saved some time checking in thanks to separate desk (don't know if this is still offered?) and the plane itself was great. Prices though are what drew me to them, even looking at 2020 they are well into the triple digit savings pp compared to virgin, on top of the savings on the base holiday.

Would say as long as there is a significant saving (for us looking at 2020 it would be £4-500 cheaper base holiday price then another £400 cheaper for upgrade on top) absolutely go with TC.

I'll add my thoughts RE seat selection, PE we found didn't matter either way, couldn't see much of a queue for the toilets at the front, enough room so that you felt fine even in the middle section (where we sat.) Did prefer entertainment in seat back in front of you so would probably book middle section towards rear again.

Economy, I'll add to a pp and say we sat in row 1 and had a lot of people queuing for the toilets, bumped into my leg quite a bit. Would avoid in future imo. Didn't help that the airtanker plane had quite the dogleg, stewardesses did bump my leg a little a few times - obviously not my fault and they were very nice about it, got a free drink.
