You get what you pay for? You couldn’t pay me to stay there, surely if they’d done a little research then they wouldn’t have been surprised. 😳🤣

For all those calling the Mail a "rag" etc, you do know that they were instrumental in getting the D Day memorial erected in Normandy? Just saying.

A couple of years back we went same time, same travel agents, similar hotel (rosen Inn @ pointe) and we paid well under £3,000 for a fortnight. We didn't do Disney but all the other parks so our tickets were cheaper anyway.
I'd have been miffed at state of room with blood stained sheets and dust on floor but that pic looks like bed or bedside tables been moved to show build up of dust... That said a good housekeeper would hoover behind furniture regularly I'd like to think, not daily lol but a full clean between guests arriving and departing for those sorts of areas. Think article is misleading as its playing on Disney a bit too much they only had tickets for there not a full stay but price wise for hotel I'd say you can still get bargains like that, way less if you can get a last minute deal. |

It’s a series of mis research and mis guidance - 2 beds is normal in that hotel (and most US) if they wanted self catering they should have booked it, the dirty room isn’t acceptable, but that’s not the travel agents fault, that’s down to the hotel and they should have go it re cleaned, as for breakfast vouchers, that’s the travel agent, they should have been put on the booking, when we booked with VH ours were given to us on checkin because they were included.
It’s obviously disappointing, but it sounds like the travel agents didn’t really do there job properly.

Surprised at the room as we've stayed at the RII many times, never, had a bad room. The cleanliness is the reason we return.
