Family Claim £5,000 Disney World Holiday was ruined...

I know its from a rag (Daily Mail) but has anyone read this story? I know regardless of what you spend you at least expect the minimal amount of quality, cleanliness and hygiene, but £5000 for a family of 5 Holiday to Florida / Disney seems extremely cheap, or is that just me?

Again, this may just be me, but it appears there was also a lack of planning prior to the Holiday regarding luggage costs, breakfast vouchers, checking the quality/rooms of the New Hotel after your original was cancelled etc...

Not quite sure it was a nightmare as they suggest in the rag but I’d say that’s about right price for the Rosen . If they’ve never been before and booked by an agent why would they check everything . The dibb isn’t normal life remember . I think Thomas cook messed up like they often do and I’d expect a clean hotel ! The bed situation looks normal to me with a rollaway for the 5th person.

2 adults and 3 children for 2-week park entry for £1500? £300 each?

I want that price!

The story lost all credibility as soon as the words "Daily Mail" came into it.

Not really. Sounds like another disaster by Thomas Cook!

Nice to see people think the same way as m regarding that Rag! It's only worth it for the comments section as they are a laugh a minute.

This family live local to me although I don't know them. I read the story yesterday in our local paper. I think the headline is massively misleading leading, the story has nothing to do with Disney. I also though the price was incredibly cheap. Not surprised with the state of rooms at Rosen inn but still not acceptable.

I feel the price is right and not cheap - 2 adults and 3 children 12 and under outside of school holidays , I am not paying much more than that for five adults in the summer holidays with a villa. Despite what they paid no one should have to sleep on sheets with blood stains on .
