Disney Tickets - Link to My Disney Experience

Hi All,

Apologies if I have overlooked something. Last year I booked disney tickets from Florida Tix. We received cards in post and linked them to my account so was able to book fast passes and make reservations for restaurants.
This year we are fortunate to be able to go again and I have purchased tickets from Disney direct but we are to collect our tickets on our first visit. Can someone please help and explain how i can book fast passes/make reservations in advance without tickets.

I have not been on here for a while as life has taken over but now its time to plan. I'm sure it s simple and appreciate any assistance.

If you have bought the tickets from Disney they will send you an email with a reference number, [I think it's under the barcode]. You link this to your MDE account and you will be able to book FastPasses.

If you have MagicBands linked to your MDE account I think the tickets will then be automatically linked to them so you wouldn't need to pick the Will Call tickets up.

As lyn1 says above, if you have purchased tickets direct from Disney then they should have sent you a confirmation email with a reference number. You can then go into the link tickets part of MDE and enter the number to link them:

disneyworld.disney.go/link/tickets-passes/

The number you enter should be the one underneath the barcode in your Disney Ticket Order Confirmation email:



Once linked, you will then be able to book fastpasses once you get to 30 days before your visit (I assume you are staying offsite?).

You don't need tickets to make restaurant reservations. You can make them 180 days beforehand even if you don't have tickets.

If you want (and still have them) you can use the plastic cards that you used on your previous trip instead of picking up new plastic cards. Just make sure those old plastic cards are still linked to your MDE account and then you can use them. Or, take you ticket confirmation email to the ticket desks outside the parks and pick up new plastic tickets.
