Can I ask a question about the last episode? I don’t want to give any spoilers away though (I feel as though I’ve missed something - which is quite possible as I’ve got really bad at giving my full attention to programmes these days! ) 😂

To be fair the title of the thread does not have a no spoilers warning so I wouldn’t worry too much about spoilers , if people haven’t watched it yet then they shouldn’t click on a thread about it , that’s my opinion anyway 😊

That would be a Prequel ahead of book one/Series One surely. I just read it was a sequel and that it takes place 15 years after (I hope I am so wrong) in which case we would know what happened to June etc. Oh I do hope (I think it was a bit in The Guardian) they got it wrong & its how it all started.
Going of to check on Google...

Nope its right, it takes place 15 years after the end of what we are watching, about 3 women in Gilead, 2 who have grown from children to adults and one other who is part of the regime (Aunt Lydia ?)

I watched the whole lot, binge watched it. Even at the end of series 3 it still leaves it open ended though - so expect there will be another series.

I’m not liking that at all , I did a search on series 4 the other day and it was rumoured that it delves into Nicks background and his “ agenda/ purpose “ of being a commander , it also mentioned Aunt Lydia protecting June , maybe it’s set 15 years on with flashbacks to what happened in between those years ?

Yes I read that about Series 4.
To be honest, call me cynical, but its like THT has been such a hit that this new book is just a cash cow, I hate saying that but thats how it seems to me. Dont think I will buy the book, Ill wait till someone else reads it and tells me if it worth getting.

What happened to her daughter? I assumed the whole plan was so that she could rescue her - so where was she? (As I say, I’m sure I’ve missed some as I don’t always concentrate fully on any programmes these days! ) 😂

She is in some sort of a complex , June tried to see her and tricked commander Lawrence’s wife into going to the complex with her but when they got there the guards wouldn’t let June in . June won’t leave Gilead while Hannah is still there . If you mean the other daughter Nicole ( Nicks child ) she is now with June’s husband another handmaid ( can’t remember her name ) escaped and took Nicole with her with June’s blessing .
I think that’s right , someone will correct me if I have got it wrong , I sometimes lose concentration and miss bits 😳
