Don't understand packing cubes

Just that really. I must be missing something as everyone here seems to love them. Aren't they just a couple of plastic cubes that you put your stuff in, what's the difference to just packing your case neatly?
Convince me to buy them...

For me they make packing much easier and they come into their own if you are doing a road trip or multi stay holiday. Different people use them differently but I put all my tops in one, bottoms in another, underwear in another etc Clothes are far less creased and you can get more in your case. I took some convincing but I love them. Made life much easier on our recent California adventure.

Wouldn’t be without ours. They take up WAY less space and are really handy when you have dirty clothes. Just keep a set of packing cubes out and slowly fill it, once full (and they hold a surprisingly large amount!) pop it in the case. Clothes don’t slide about the case either.

People use them in several different ways, I’ve heard of folk packing complete outfits for the kids in them so that they just take out one cube and know the whole outfit is organised and assembled. Also fantastic for packing an emergency set of clothes for hand luggage in case your hold luggage goes walkies.

Oh - they’re not plastic, they are fabric so don’t add any weight or bulk to your luggage.

They're not plastic - they're nylon/parachute type material so don't weigh anything. They normally come in a pack of different sizes. They have zips and often 2 sides to them. I got mine from Ebay.

Invaluable for road trips and keeps everything neat and tidy in your case or to unpack in your room. Wouldn't goo without them now.

One for underwear, one for t shirts ...

I don't understand them either but I accept I am in the minority and people swear by them.

We all do things differently and prefer different things.

Now if it was a new Dewalt screwdriver I would fight my corner.

I didn't understand them until I tried them and now I am a convert. They make your suitcase much more organised, and most importantly for me all of my clothes remained crease free as they don't slide about your suitcase. They are only cheap so I suggest you try a pack. I bought some before we went to lanzarote in May and ordered more on our return.

I don’t get them either but that’s probably cos I’ve never seen or used one.
Did like the idea of people putting kids outfits into them though so they could just put them in the draws and kids could pull them out and just put them on.
Have to admit this is what I did. T-shirt,shorts & socks into bag and I could just pull them out. Wrote day and child name. Was loads easier. But I cheated.
I used ziplock sandwich bags 😱

I love mine. Wouldn’t be without them. They keep everything neat and crease free. I paid about £5 a set from Amazon.

I have been using them for years, I love that fact I just take them out the case then out the whole cube in the drawer, so unpacking is so quick, I don’t have a lot of hanging clothes that I take on holiday so works perfect

They get really positive reviews on here but personally I don't think they are for me.

Sorry admin... I am about to send the Dibb into meltdown 🤣😂

We don't unpack just take stuff out the case as and when we need it 😳
