We’ve been here since 8th August and not a single day has passed without a substantial downpour. Have been in August before an know about the afternoon rain but I’m my opinion it seems to be lasting longer. This is just my preference but I wouldn’t rush to come back in August again, we usually come feb/March/April time and I prefer it. I’ve had to do more loads of washing than I’d like as we are either wet through in sweat (90% humidity at times) or rain. Like I said that’s just my opinion and I know many like to come August time but for me I can’t wait until next March when we come as it seems to rain less.

We have done October twice and we had 1 afternoon of rain in total over two separate 14 day holiday. We are tied to August now as kids are both in secondary school. My wife says it will be fine but I have been following this August blogs etc and it seems a washout. I am so convinced it will ruin our holiday as we are not the family that looks on the bright side of set backs. I would not choose August but here goes. Good luck in your final plans and have a great time. We are going Aug 2020.

We have been the last 3 times in May and weather was lovely, not too hot and occasional light showers. Due to daughter taking GCSE exams next year, we're unable to go during May, so have booked for 1st July.
Anyone have any experience of what the weathers like in July? |
