Nope. Only had breakfast and lunch out a couple of times, but it was all holiday related expenses for the 15 nights. Airport food, BG tickets, fuel, Uber, villa food shops, snack treats for the kids, pool toys, sun cream, Segway tour and boat trip in Miami. I guess it will sound a lot to some, not a lot to others, but it was bang on our budget so we were happy

We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 8yr old. We average around $100-$150 a evening meal in places like Longhorns,Bahama Breeze etc, nothing fancy usually just burgers or pizzas. Breakfast at Bob Evan's,I hop was usually around $40 but often had discount coupons.

With the rubbish exchange rate now it definitely makes a dent in the pocket

That included £300 for Busch Gardens tickets and £130 medical bill, fuel, Ubers in Miami, trips to Menchies/Twistee Treats, slushes/Icees by the pool etc. £3k is what I had saved ready to pay off the CC, so I was pretty chuffed with that! No main park visits though, so no expensive park snacks/food.

Just checked my CC bill, Longhorns was our most expensive meal at £115, Culvers was the cheapest at £23. Average was around £75. Neither of us drink alcohol with a meal, and the boys ordered as adults
£200 a day for everything sounds good to me. I know the speed boat we did in Miami was about $100 for 3 of us and that was dd at child rate.

I do $100 for food for 2 adults and a tween. But that is with a car to eat offsite and a lot of knowledge of offers and coupons. No alcohol at restaurants usually either. If you want some cheaper ideas look at my $100 a day reports on the dining reviews section. My most recent was August 2018.

I'm hoping to get away with $1500 for 1 week!

We've just returned and spent about £1800 on food and drink, that's includes snacks and tips. Family of 4- 2 adults 2 teen swimmers (can eat for England due to training). We had a few pasta meals in room I took with us, food bought when shopping (bacon, milk, bread etc) and meals in park and springs.

We were in a hotel, we didn’t have lunch most days and made use of coupons but we didn’t go hungry and ate wherever we wanted.

We are staying offsite, 2 adults 1 8 year old and budgeting 4k for 2 weeks, we have all park tickets but will need either parking or uber. Defo want to do quite a bit shopping! Making me wonder if this is going to be enough now 😨

We’re going for 10 days, essentially 4 adults staying in a villa and I’m budgeting for £50 per person per day for food and drink, so £2000 total.

Probably be breakfast in the villa most days, snack for lunch in whatever park we are at that day and then dinner at one of the off-site restaurants.

I’ll be happy to come back having spent less than that, but I won’t be spending any more.

Our family all put money into a kitty and don’t eat out for breakfast as we are eating in the apartment. If we are at the pool we tend to buy snacks like chicken wings etc to put in the oven. We feast out mainly at sweet tomatoes, bj brew house, outback, Bahamas breeze. I search for a lot of coupons and print out stuff before I go, I also use frugal for good deals. Lucky for us we have friends that work in these restaurants so tend to get a nice cheeky wee discount
