Good to see the plan worked, bypassed the waitlist system.

Dibbers should share more cancellations in future- great work.

Now if any BWV owner wants to book a 4 night 1 bed either 16-20 or 20-24 December now to cancel off in 4 weeks, that would be most appreciated!

It would be a great idea to have some sort of thread that owners can advise that they are cancelling a certain room type so other owners can maybe get. Glad it worked out for you Helen.

That's actually a really good idea! It would be nice if we could arrange a way to help each other out. Unfortunately I don't have any points at the moment to help anyone this year (all tied up in rooms I may or may not use), but in the future I'd be happy to do this with my BCV points.

I just thought of it when I saw it had worked. It would mean someone going to the hassle of booking it then cancelling off, but it would work. Unfortunately owning SSR you can normally (although not necessarily this or next year) book it 7 months out but I’d be happy to do it if anyone wants a studio at SSR guaranteeing for Xmas, Easter or something. I haven’t got enough points for Xmas but I have Easter (Feb use year).

You could only really ask for someone to do it for a month just outside the 7 month window so it doesn’t tie the points up too long. And of course they’d need the points spare not doing anything for a month.

All we need is a Dibb Grand Cali owner for next year as well if you are out there (I’ve walked it two years running but next year may he more challenging)😀

Until this year I've only ever used banked points so I generally don't mind what I do with current ones as long as they're free before my banking deadline. I'm going to have some free in a couple of months too as I'm holding an AKV club level room as well as a savannah room just in case the services come back! (It's going to hurt to cancel that one)

Unless someone else wants to do it first I can set up a thread for this next week (I'm a bit busy for the next few days).
