Super useful thread, thank you!
Random question about the rides with metal detectors: I知 visually impaired and will likely be using a white cane in the parks (depends how busy they are and a few other factors) but if I have to leave my glasses in a locker, I値l definitely need it. Or I値l have to have my friend guide me. Anyone know the rules around mobility devices?

I don稚 know the rules around mobility devices, but I don稚 recall people being told to remove glasses, sunglasses maybe but not vision glasses. You might want to get a strap to go around the back of your head for the more extreme rides.

I have a fairly substantial bum bag I've used for the last 3 or 4 trips, it has a pouch each side of the bag for holding drinks bottles, so it's a fair size and bulky, never had any problems wearing it on rides. As long as the bar can drop over my lap, it always seems fine

At Disney have never been on a ride where you couldn稚 take a bag on.
Kali River rapids at AK I put my bag in a nearby locker as although there痴 a central plastic covered bit everything got soaked

Slightly off topic but if you have a very small bum bag, do you still have to queue at the entrance with all the push chairs and large back packs to get through security or is there a line for smaller bags?
