Got a Pethidine injection and a prescription for Tramadol to tide me over but i can still feel my pain today regardless of what painkillers i take.

Big hugs to both of us

This is what happened to me - it didn’t matter what I ate i was in pain. I remember reading the back of everything I bought checking the fat percentage. Took me ages to do a food shop.

Luckily for me , I knew the signs and have private medical so had the op 2 weeks after flare , and only had 2 flares in between . It turned out I only had a couple of stones so dread to think what an attack is like when you have loads .
Having the stones out doesn't mean you go back to normal , almost 16 years on still have irritation / Ibs

I'm waiting for my op. I've had them for about 3 years. but this last year the attacks have gotten a lot more often. If I feel a pain coming I take 2 buscopan and 2 paracetamol. If it gets really bad I take 2 codeine, which knocks me out for 12 hours. I had to have a MIR scan today which was horrible. I'm hoping to have the op in the next 6 weeks. I'm lucky though because I've been taken on as a NHS patient but being treated privately. Good luck to all fellow gallstone sufferers.

Glad to hear you got sorted so quickly, but sorry to hear about your still having irritation 😔

I don't know if this is a side effect of my flare up at the weekend but I seem to have a lot of wind 😳 normal burps and bottom burps 🙈😔

Oh god 3 years... If I don't get any improvement by the end of the year, I think I may attempt to remove the damn thing myself 😳🙈

My Dr has given me Tramadol to take for the next flare up, I remember taking 1 tramadol years ago for back pain and it knocked me out for 12 hours 🤔

I've got everything crossed 🤞 for you getting your operation ASAP 🙏
