How lovely to see you back here again 👋 I hope that you and yours are all ok?
We still remember The Dibb canal meet/trip you organised several years ago now, and you’re also responsible for us feeling brave enough to take our first Disney cruise - thank you 😊 and good to see you back. |

Welcome back! I saw you pop up on some facebook posts about the UK cruises and thought I hadn’t seen you here for a while.
You gave me some advice on booking my first cruise... that was back in 2018 and I still haven’t made it on the ship yet! (Easter 2019 my Dad died 4 days before and we cancelled, Easter 20 and 21 covid cancelled). So my next question... I get very sea sick, yes even on big cruise ships and even taking meds. We were going to do the Magic out of Miami (Avoiding the rolling seas from PC). Would you even consider a short cruise from Newcastle? I’ve been sick on, and said never again to, the North Sea ferry, but they are smaller than the cruise ship... but no port stops, and I wonder how far out to sea they would go... If only they would do a real “cruise to nowhere“ I’d happily look at North Shields port terminal from the ship for a couple of days rather than bob about in the sea! |
