Also if you have facebook it is worth adding Desert Sun to your feed as they give live updates on all sorts of stuff like road conditions, weather advisories, what is open/shut, earth quake/tremors etc

There isnt much you can do really. An accident can close them for day or more (as happened this week due to a shooting incident) then you work around it . Snow closure unlikely to happen on your day 🤞🏻 but there is likely to be snow on the mountains which makes it so so pretty
