Park Reservation

Hi - i have been gradually getting more hopeful about our Oct 21 trip.
I read last night that I might need park reservations as well? How can you book to go to a specific park when the opening times aren't even available yet? (understandably)

Has anyone got any advice? What have other people done for their Oct holidays?

You can book park reservations either on the MDE app or if you search for My disney experience and login via browser.

You will need to have and paid for Tickets for all the parks you want to reserve before it will allow you to reserve the days you want.

I would reserve october as soon as if im honest as the 50th Celebrations Start 1st of October and Magic Kingdom is currrently full on that day already.

Oh ok - thats really useful to know. So i should just book parks on rotation probably, seeing as we dont know when the EMH will be or the opening hours. At least that way i have something right?!

Park reservations have been required since it reopened last year. I would recommend you make your reservations based on the opening times broadly as they are now, they are all open pretty much all day every day although Epcot has a slightly later opening time.

I have some booked for September, I didn’t take any notice of opening times, just booked the parks with a reasonable alternation of days at each.

Yes i hadn't been paying too much attention as things were so up in the air.
We normally have a plan of what parks are closed early for MNSSHP for example, and what parks are open later, and these are what we book. Looks like we will just have to be a bit more flexible this time!

We're there in October and tend to do the same parks on the same days of the week as years of watching the busy day guides shows the pattern. The logic probably doesn't follow at the minute because of lower capacity but it's habit for us now that Monday's are Hollywood Studios etc. The park hours don't really come into it for us.

There isn’t any emh anymore , just each park opens half an hour early every day now for onsite guests .
I would suggest booking your park days ASAP , we booked our park days for September last September , with the 50th anniversary we knew it would be busy , we just picked random parks on random days as hours weren’t out, but we booked MK for the 1st October as we knew that was the day the celebrations started , and wanted to be in Mk for that day .
Check mde for availability

Jules
