Sounds worth it, I assume you want this as it’s busy for food and wine?
One thing is they are moving the points charts to increase the cost at this time and this may continue, so it seems worth the extra points to me. The downside is that it may become less busy due to points going higher. Also F&W may go or change (although it hasn’t yet so why would they move it). Xmas is always busy. As is Easter and 4 July and that will never change.

Be advised most buyers (direct or resale) simply want the points vs the guaranteed weeks. The number of buyers looking for points is greater then those looking for a guaranteed week. It is probably because that is how DVC was sold for so many years. I would also recommend points over the guaranteed week.
